It was promoted as a 70ft high projection to be seen from the London Eye across Thames...it was more 7ft torch light attached to a tender with a fountain spray. It was poor, flat and they kept turning the light off.
The green light beam of the Greenwich Meridian line across the London night skyline shows you this could have been bigger/better/further for the 30 mins it was on.
I'm still seeing the film at the IMAX to have it burned into my retinas tho :)
Don't mean to be anti-Watchmen on the opening weekend (UK), but it seems that Media Labs Network, Rubber Republic and the SE1 Website are responsible in parts (but also collectively) for this as they seem to be the only groups saying this was an enire success and deleting the comments of anyone who says otherwise (like yourself)... a conspiracy is amongst us!!
This was terrible and I'm pretty sure that you are just PR company shill if you think otherwise. Anyone that was actually THERE knows it looked embarrassingly bad.
I'm going to see the movie but not because of this shoddy work.
Completely agree with Razoroo - what the video doesnt show (obviously the company responsible for it) is that the projection was no where near 100ft and "the worlds largest" but was actually about 20 ft, could hardly see it.
I reckon all these positive comments are from the people that did the campaign - poor PR and fake comments, awful!
looks like disneys fantasmic LOL

Yeah, for fuck sake Dune. Did you see his blue wang in person? You wouldn't be spouting this shit if you had.

LOL, you are right, I'm just a whining Brit. The giant blue wang was pretty cool

Wow, that is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard. "THIS SUCKS, AND ANYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH ME JUST WORKS FOR THE PR COMPANY!"
Do you even read your posts before you submit them?

It was fucking shit.

Spectacular event. Dr Manhattan was literally several feet high and gave off an ethereal glow which made him appear to be out of focus.

Love it not-quite-as-large-as advertised.
