Guys Yuri and Makarov are not in the car because the developers aren't heard of them until MW2 and MW3 you can tell by no-clipping onto the Jeeps in which Zakhaev enters the jeep, it's actually either a generic Spetsnaz soldier or simply just an empty passenger and driver

This is definitely the most gory mission in Call of Duty 4 because you can see a body part fly off, and is also the first time in the Call of Duty series that this happens. Also, having the Cockpit of the first helicopter covered in blood once you shoot the pilot. It's also considered to be one of the hardest, as players have to consolidate and defend their positions under heavy enemy resistance (especially on Hardened and Veteran) for a period of time until the extraction helicopter arrives.

It's because of the story line, in the end, Price slides MacTavish his M1911 and MacTavish eliminates Zahkaev and his two henchmen. So if he died from the 50 cal, it wouldn't make sense, would it.

Theres a glitch in MW2, special ops. "Hidden" on Charile. Where you jump off a ccontainer.. and you can actually GET OFF the map. And you can get to this place where Zakhaev's arm got sniped off. Check it out on youtube "Out of the hidden" glitch mw2 spec ops

Here you go for those who want to know The Coriolis effect is an apparent deflection of moving objects from a straight path when they are viewed from a rotating frame of reference. In layman's terms, it means that long range fire (artillery shells and sniper rounds) will not appear to fly in a straight line from the shooter to the target because of the rotation of the Earth on its axis.

Rather, the round or shell will appear to curve. In actuality, the shot is flying in a straight line but the turn of the Earth moves the target so it will look as if the round or shell is curving. Artillery gunners and snipers are well-trained to compensate for the Coriolis effect by actually not aiming directly at their target, but off to the side so that by the time the bullet makes it to the target distance, it has "curved" to hit the target

its the effect that the earth turns underneath your bullet and that makes the travel time a bit longer, depending on to angle you are from the nort pole, the earths rotation can be slightly forward and the the right from where you shoot, making you aim a bit down and to the left. hope that made sence to you.
