  • 09:32 "i think that's gonna end up on youtube"

    and it did, haha.

  • @Metanoeo1 and @MrBeautifulba1, you guys are both right. Suits are nothing but really nice looking fig leaves. We're just trying to cover up our nakedness and sinfulness. Being someone who wears suits a lot, I've become accustomed to them and "enjoy" wearing them, but I've come to realize I'm glamorizing something that exists to cover my sin. On the other hand, it is important to look past individuals who wear suits. Some of us our legitimate people. haha. Anyway, soli deo gloria!

  • @bigearsbill Our "nakedness" and "sinfulness" is also something that we have been conditioned to accept as reality. But I hear you. Good points.

  • John Macarthur wears a suit. He's weak and can talk. Wow. A guy in a suit that can TALK. How unimpressive that is. A guy in a suit "talking". The suit and tie represents all that is false in us.

  • @MrBeautifulba1 WHAT??? Wearing a suit is false? You're not making any sense at all. He's weak? That man is empowered by the Spirit of God and the fruit of the ministry God has given him is evidence.

  • @metanoeo1 Deep down inside no one REALLY enjoys wearing a suit and tie. Our fake society is SOOO hung up on fashion and outer appearances that we have deceived ourselves into thinking that the suit and tie is important. The suit and tie is uncomfortable and we ALL know that. Jesus wouldn't be arrogant enough to wear a suit and tie. Other than his ability to YAP I'm not really inspired by john at all. Shaolin Monks However are far more impressive and passionate than anything john could ever SAY.

  • @MrBeautifulba1 Really?! So if you are in a t.v. interview; what would YOU wear? Jeans and a poorly fitting T shirt?

  • @skaha77 You're missing my point. We've been conditioned by our society to accept the suit and tie as a symbol of status. We've lost ourselves to materialism. So much so that the christian church is just as concerned about appearances as is the "lost" or secular world. No one really enjoys wearing a suit and tie. Just like no one really likes being forced into a reality where we have to get a job that we really don't want to go to. Life could be alot more fun without all of the pretentious b.s.

  • @MrBeautifulba1 OK. In China, very few of the Christians wear suits. They are underground. I won't wear jeans to church. I believe that is disrespectable. No tie. Just a blazer and solid colored shirt. That said, nobody gives a hoot what I wear; unless I am naked in a restaurant

  • @skaha77 Thank you. I just find that shaolin monks are much more trustworthy and impressive than almost all christian preachers, that's all.

  • @MrBeautifulba1 There is only one way to Heaven. I won't say anything against monks, or for them except that they are committed to a false god. As for their trustworthiness, I am unable to comment on that as I have done no research.. just like you are unable to truly 'judge' Christian preachers.

  • @skaha77 Well that's the problem. The shoalin monk's "false god" seems to be more empowering and humble than the "god" of the wealthy preachers. Actions speak louder than words. I see how shaolin monks live and train. Dedicating themselves to the practice of awareness, peace and the martial arts with an incredible amount of passion and discipline. I look at the wealthy preachers and all I see are guys in nice suits, " talking." Shaolin monks are a better example of Christ in my opinion.

  • @MrBeautifulba1 WHAT?!

  • @theembracedofgod WHEN?!

  • @MrBeautifulba1 Dedicated monks are to be admired whatever tradition they follow. But theirs is an inward mission. The mission of preachers and spiritual teachers is external, it is wholly dedicated to others. To help them find in their everyday lives what monks and nuns find in endless years of poverty, solitude and prayer. It is an act of compassion, of wishing the best possible life for every single human. Which is one of the few real commands that Christ left for the faithful (mark 16:15)

  • I guess the fact that the evidence for all this debate about an afterlife is ZERO isn`t going to matter to anyone . Sigh .

  • Two mighty men of God. Al

  • I watched/Listen to all of them :) What a Great TIME!!!
