Well...I like to think of all east coast hombres as a brotherhood, but some people have to get territorial. Let's be honest...there's equally gnarly footage of all spots. It's not Hawaii or Costa Rica, so just relax on the "burlier than thou" shit. If you're that sick of a surfer you wouldn't live on the east coast of the United States.
hellow guys, i was in Montauk Point in winter 1995, surfing excelnte waves, i love Long Island,i love Montauk Point, my brother live there in Levitown now and i have very friends in Hicksville.
new york had a sick run of surf from August to about November. Hurricane after hurricane to nor'easter after nor'easter. It wasnt like 6 foot plus for 3 months straight, but we did get 4 or 5 solid swells. Surfline did a whole special on it.
I think you're just spoiled down there in the nice 80 degree water and sunshine xD
