He took another ball right after, chucked another full court shot. Swish. He didn't even bother chucking a third shot. He just told the trainer, "I'm back."

Perfect example of why Bird was the greatest shooter ever, especially with the clock winding down. He could hit a shot from anywhere on the court. Too bad he was just a hair late with this one. Love the Bull's announcers monotone description -- they were already tired of watching Bird torch and bury the Bulls game after game. This shot looks to be about the same distance as the famous Jerry West shot, I'm guessing 65 feet.

Actually, that's incorrect. When the clock hit one second, that's when today's modern clocks drop to 0.9, 0.8, 0.7, etc. His shot would have been late by today's standards, as well.
