My favorite memory was watching the fight in the tunnel between the benches near the beer garden, only a curtain separated the two areas. I remember two big WI fans holding beers pushing the curtain back to see what was happening. One of the WI players were taking on two of the ND players. As the WI player fell to the ground one of the ND players jumped on him. As that happen, one of the big WI fans gave his beer to his friend picked up & tossed the ND player. It was great being there!

I used to live on the UND campus back then when my folks went to school there. I delivered the newspaper to Phil Sykes and some of the other players in their student housing rooms and buildings. :-D Man, that was good hockey back then.
