@plumber60 I do own a mk4 golf lol. I had a Focus and would never get another one. That car understeered like crazy and was complete crap to drive. The golf is a BMW compared to it.
the Golf R is the better car in general. But it'll be far more civilised, if that's your thing. The RS would be far more of a hoot to drive and more demanding too. You'd need to be a better driver. You'd learn to be a better driver! And the engine sound is unlike anything that the R will produce.

It's like slapping an omega 3.0L in a corsa B. They've basically ruined the FWD because of the wheight which will cause understeer no matter how good the diff and springs are. And it will react like an AWD.
