Decided that this Conair spin brush totally stinks. I have thick, wavy hair and this thing just wasn't getting the job done. I went on Ebay and bought a new REVO styler to replace the old one, and couldn't be happier.
I have one and I practically swear by it! I am obsessed with all extreme hair products and stylers, so I just bought the conair Wet/dry hair designer from amazon. I got it on Friday and still have not used it. If you or anybody has this product can they tell me what you think or do a video response using it? THANKS SO MUCH!
I just bought mine today and couldn't wait to try it out...IT'S FANTASTIC !!! I have shorter hair (about jaw length) and I have always had difficulty with volume since my hair is so poker-straight and thin. After only a few minutes, my hair was completely styled and it looked as if I just had my stylist do it for me !!! I love this product...definitely worth the money !!!
@schuttziejr13 If you do it right it will do fine. I have an instyler which is a rotationg style tool. You just cant do something stupid like put too much hair in it. And i have long curly hair lol
I have long hair .. not thick but a lot of it. I bought this and I have to admit I only use it for my bangs. The bristles are too short and soft to grab a hold of your hair for me to use it on the long part. When I did try it, it did not smooth my hair so I still had to use my InStyler or GHD Flat Iron to get rid of the frizz. I think this is better for people with short hair or think hair. JMO
I HATE THIS. I tried it on my dry hair and its curly (like tailor swift hair) and it took out a LOT of my hair. If you have that type of hair, don't use it.
Thumbs this comment up for people's hair safety lol
@beautyx0 maybe cuz u tried it wen it was dry..try it wen its wet or damp..i have really curly hair and i wouldnt dare comb my hair wen its dry cuz it'll take so much hair out..so yea try it wen its wet or damp
@beautyx0 I feel the need to point out that you should try it with your hard wet. Its a fancy blowdryer that styles your hair. But if you want to try something for when your hair is dry try the instyler. I have really curly hair too (like shirley temple) and that is what I use to strainten my hair. Works really well. :)
I just saw the commercial for this the other day, so I figured I would check it out. I have been using the REVO styler for the past 10+ years. It is also a rotating brush, but you have to use a hairdryer with it. It's finally on it's last legs, so I have been looking for a replacement, since the REVO is no longer manufactured. Does the cord get in the way at all? My REVO is cordless. Thanks for the video!
@Jaimielyn23 The cord definitely gets in the way. My dryer can't be used at the same time because the plug ins are shaped the same (if that makes any sense.) I want to like this and I've only used it once but so far I'm not a huge fan. Especially for $60 retail.
Brooke0082, We get a lot of positive feedback about the Spin Air Brush and it is overwhelmingly positive. Check your inbox, we sent you an email and would like to speak with you to address your concerns. Sincerely, Conair Corporate
and in the videos it makes it looks like it's so easy to move up and down it while its rotating but when I did that it kept getting stuck and tangling! I'm very upset the amount of hair that I lost from it is ridiculous!!! The results are nothing like they advertise on the videos?!?!
Ok I just tried the Conair Spin Air Brush and I am very upset! I used it on completely dry nice hair to test it out and no matter what I did it kept getting completely tangled up in my hair!! It didn't give it any volume what so ever even though I was styling it upwards at the root of my hair straight up, Noooo volume nothing!!
@4everbabyinlove you can get it at your local beauty stores or online. It's around $70 or $80 dollars last time i checked, but it is soooo good. So you won't get your hair tangled, you should detangle your hair and have your hair dry, then use the spin brush, the results will be better. and i have very thick hair that takes like 2 days to completley air dry, and it rly worked for me.
Thank you so much for posting this. I just saw the TV commercial and was wondering how effective this was. I love your video... great help. I want to buy this now.
Awesome job. It does look like a salon blowout. Mine should be delivered today. I can't wait to try it out. Thank you for the tutorial. Very easy to follow. =)
OMG this product is so time consuming and in the same time makes your hair look fancy as anything else. Definitely i loved your hair. Thanks for this amazing review. I am definitely buying this one. My straightner takes forever only with straightening. I ♥ this one ...
@01716245502 Yea you can use it dry, I prefer it that way. It works pretty well, but it takes a lot of my hair out when its wet . Also, my hair dries very quickly and using this as a dryer took a while. Take your crown and roots, lift them up and stick the brush there and resist the pull of the wand , as its teasing and giving your hair the volume it needs . I never use a hair dryer for styling, its too complicated so this is great for me. So let your hair dry 90% then use this to style.
@lyla0xo I thought the whole point of this was to use it on WET hair to minimize drying time?? So why does everyone say to have your hair dry 90% then before using it? That just takes up more time then, if you can't use this from the start?
@Brooke0082 The point of this product is to STYLE your hair more easy, idk if it says otherwise but it seems to be. Go ahead and completely dry your hair with it, it'll just take a while. You shouldn't style your hair when its wet anyways because it stretches and breaks much easier, so thats probably why people say to let it air dry a bit....
Can you stop saying "look at that"! It's annoying.
