  • Yo.. this is Mikey Disko (the guy in the video with the long hair). To answer the question, the footage was between 97-98.

  • @nelldance yea, I have the Wreckinshop video..

  • Original Soul Sector flava my homiez Jorgie, Cesarleo Jimmy P, and Cory way too raw!!!!

  • This was made in 2000. I got my tape from one of the crew members.

They are New School Hip Hop dancers, some call it Freestyle. It's the style of Hip Hop dancing that became popular in the late 80's after breaking, popping etc(think MC Hammer,Big Daddy Kane's dancers).

  • u call this new school? thats interesting. who do u consider oldschool hiphop dancers then? Then todays dancers gotta be babyschool or something like that?

  • New school for this style was used more in the 90's. Back then that term was used to distinguish it from the popping and breaking of the 80's(old school) that it came after.

  • @nelldance ..This was new school when we were filming it in 1997ish hahah

  • Phyzical Poetz Inland Empire '90-'93

  • Yeah its not bboyin' its House. Some of which is still under ground unlike breaking! Which is kinda over clutter by corny dudes with no soul.

  • let em' know homie.

  • @Tucomen I HEARD THAT

  • No one seems to be able to date this video. It had to be at least between 1994-2000. That's when Grant Hill played for the Pistons (check the kids jersey 1:32)

  • @Majesticon - ! taped it around 1997 -98 and edited it around 1998.

    Mikey Disko

    Soul Sector

  • back when dudes weren't wearing skinny jeans and black folks still dominated the bboy scene. (i'm kidding about the last part)

  • this ain't bboyin'...

  • ive been wanting to dance sence january, but the clubs that play the music we want to hear dont play good music anymore. so everyone that i know that dances just has been in hibernation i guess.

i just want to get back to bustin.

    peace.

  • If your ever in LA try finding a party done by the Beat Junkies. No radio music, just pure undground and old school hip hop.
