its not created yet.only ideas are available for now no pics. if you look closely at all the pics you will notice that the car is slightly different due to the fact that its an idea and not a real car at photo shoots. another thing is that the AE86 is the chassis code which AE86 is found in the vin number. "A" represents the engine, "E" is the corolla line and "E86" is the 6th revision of the fifth generation-E model which is the Corolla. 8 in jap is hachi. 6 is roku. i own an 8-6. i kno.

I'm not all excited about the possibility of the AE86's revival. I've seen the pictures of the new Hachi, but the design just screams Celica.

And why the same chassis code? The AE86 name should be specific to the classic Hachiroku, not some newfangled remake. The didn't do it with the Sprinter/Corolla Levin BZ-R (AE101), so why with this thing?

And Toyota's marketing executives who think the new Sprinter won't sell are greatly mistaken. The car will sell, I'm just not too pumped about it.

I own anm AE86 myself and I have major problems keeping up with the restoration. Although I would give a leg and liver to see this car go back into production, I would highly doubt it'll ever happen. The car is over 20 yrs old with 20 yrs of outdated tech. Just think about all the things they will have to change.. which means it won't be the same. Real AE86 enthusiast will understand what that means.
