  • @DarkerBorkirs thanks!

  • sweet bro :)

  • AWESOME DUDE. I'll have to challenge my friend Kelly to see if she can plays this so well like you did. You are almost as good as Dan Briggs. Best cover I've seen!!!

  • @coastermusic93 Thanks so much man, really awesome to hear that!!

  • @MistaMarko Yeah, this cover is pretty freakin' awesome. Can't wait for their new album this year.

  • Dude this is sweet.

What is cooler is that you are the bass player from Tetrafusion and I just happened to find a video of you playing this song when I'm in the process of learning it! Keep up the good work man!

  • @Willstonez Awesome man! Thanks for the compliments.

  • at :30 its so hard to NOT bend that note hahaha

  • Perfect!

  • dude, that was amazing!!! perfect!! dan would be proud!! I just 'liked' the fuck out of this video!!

  • @stomie4 Awesome man, would be cool if he saw it!

  • god i love those natural harmonics

  • @xxTDWPxD00dxx Thank Dan Briggs from BTBAM!

  • wow haha. that was amazing

  • @abcdefghijklemons Woo! Thanks man.

  • Very good.

  • @supremebeing87 thanks!

  • Very Nice. :D

  • @TheStopOfMotion Thanks bro!

  • what was with your facial expressions in the begining?? if you have a dissorder i can understan but if not.... u have problemss... sorry if u do!

  • @1cameramandan i dunno man someone told me to take this pill they had and i was hungry so i did and it just made me feel all tingly inside for the next 2 weeks

  • That was beautiful. There were a few sketchy parts, but if you only did this in forty minutes, I'm really impressed. I've been looking for a bassist for our band for a while, and I wish we could find someone that can play like you. Add us if you want, any support would be appreciated. Go to myspace and look up Andrea Barber.

  • @LanceSaunders Thanks, I really appreciate that. And yeah, did it in about 45 minutes just for the sake of uploading it really. Hope you find a bassist, good luck!

  • @LanceSaunders heck yeah he did it in 45 minutes. Have you seen his original work? Look up "the end" by tetrafusion

  • @jarhead4214 I actually have Tetrafusion on myspace, and I've listened to them before. Pretty sick stuff. For real

  • @LanceSaunders Thanks to both of you...really appreciate you guys taking the time to check us out! Hope it all sounded grand.

  • @MistaMarko Oh you're welcome, kind sir. I really liked what you guys are doing, and I think it's a breath of fresh air to hear some time put into the music.

  • very nice playing dude, im thinking of buy this bass online but i haven't touched one yet. Mainly i just wana know how the neck feels, lets say compared to a stingray or jazz? faster u think?

  • @Jonnypoopoopanties Definitely buy it. Been using it for 5-6 years now and it's ridiculously amazing and feels better than any bass I've played (except my other one). Neck is a bit thick, probably like a stingray for sure. Not at all like a jazz.

  • This sounds so good! Really, I'm impressed!! Keep up your incredible work!!!

  • Thanks man! Means a lot to hear the compliments, and appreciate you watching/commenting,

    -Mark

  • HOLY. CRAP. That is all.

  • Wow man, well thanks. Wasn't THAT great but I really appreciate it!

    -Mark

  • dont listen to this asshole.....this was a fucking amazing cover bro good work and keep it up@

  • Nice playing man, I play guitar and i'm looking for a bass for some home recording, i noticed its 18 volt, was wondering how long the batteries last THANKS

  • Thanks dude, really appreciate that.

All depends on how much you play. I practice dry-playing a lot to save on battery life, and only play through my amp 3-5 hours a week, and they last about 3-5 months. I'd say the average life is about 72 hours.

    -Mark

  • i love your sound fantastik

  • Thanks!

    -Mark

  • excellent job man...well done! I really like your bass ....i play fender and MM for all my music life but Peavey really did an excellent job on this one!

  • Thanks man, appreciate it. Fenders are pretty good, I usually only prefer the jazz pickup models (I have a fretless model of that) -- never was a big fan of the EBMM's, but I love my Peavey for sure!

  • lolk

  • Dude.... no disrespect but all that rap stuff has NOTHING like what BTBAM plays. NOTHING! I wanna see a song by one of those artists you listed that has such a bass part like Virdian.

  • Haha, agreed.

  • woooow!!!...very very good job!!!...n__n

  • Thanks a ton for that!

  • Comment removed

  • Oh my..this guy puts a them to shame!

  • lol

  • great job!

  • Thanks!!

  • lol @ the thumbs up in the end :D

    Nice cover!

  • indeed, :)

  • THIS is Quality ;-)

  • Appreciate it!!

  • And i just checked out your band. WOW. fucking impressed.

  • Big, big thanks man. Definitely appreciate your time to go check us out...hope you enjoyed it!!

  • This is a pretty good rendition. Thumbs up. But you could do with more practice. Trust me: it has more to do with Dan's style and extreme proficiency at bass rather than how hard the solo is. I just sensed some off timing, since Dan is pretty adamant and concise about that.

I think I may put my money where my mouth is and put a video of my rendition up, since I'm owed about as much criticism as I've shown you.

    Good job

  • Thanks man, but I did learn this in 45 minutes tops just for fun and felt like recording it, so I wasn't aiming for perfection completely. I do plan to maybe learn it a bit better next time (and put a new video up), as I blanked out like three times while playing it. I need to listen to the original track more too...it's really hard to keep time, because it has a very "free-time" feel. We'll see, but thanks man, and I agree it could've been better in a lot of places.

  • Sound Amazing!!! xD

  • Thanks so much!!

  • I would just like to say that I checked out your band, and you guys are pretty fucking badass. If you ever stop by North Carolina on a tour or something, please let me know

  • Damn, thanks man. Definitely appreciate that! I really would like you to be in the loop if we stop by there on tour, and I'd definitely forget to come reply here if we did. Just add us on MySpace, or you can check us out on Facebook too. We always post news/updates if we do things like that, so you'll be sure to know. Also, thanks again man, great to hear you enjoyed!

  • nice job man! :P

  • Thanks Phillip!

  • ment good not goob

  • overall is the bxp cirrus a goob bass, second love it good job.

  • Yeah, great bass!

  • do you have the colors bass songbook?

  • nope.

  • haha i like your facial expressions at the begining...and you nailed the solo dude

  • lol. didn't want the video to be TOO serious. thanks a lot, i appreciate that as well!

  • wow thats was fantastic Marko=D ur doing a great job=)keep going on.

  • Thanks bud! Appreciate it big time.

  • Dan would be proud. Nice work.

  • Thanks a lot!

  • very impressive... great job!

if i may, i would suggest you try Pouring Reign by As Blood Runs Black... it is just like this song, but a little simpler bass part, but a cool song nonetheless

  • I'll check that song out...sounds pretty neat. Thanks again as well.

  • badass man

  • Thanks!

  • VERY VERY GOOD MY FRIEND

  • Appreciate it!

  • nice job dude. i've been trying to cover colors on drums, but i'm nowhere near what blake has done haha

  • Blake is a beast, I agree.

  • hey if you want to see a good colors cover on drums check out spaulding89's channel he does an awesome job.

  • Best since Dan Briggs. Sick cover, good job man.

  • Wow, thanks man! Much appreciated.

  • Great job man. The only issue I could find was at 1:12. I'm pretty sure for that part he plays octaves of those notes.

Great job again though. I know I most likely wouldn't be able to play this.

  • Yeah, I noticed that after I watched the Colors Live DVD, haha. Oh well. It was close!

  • i think your right

  • Haha, with your expressions you could pass for Dan.

  • Really? haha...

  • If the playing didn't already land you the gig, just don't curve your wrist as much, and nice job using a movable anchor :)

  • Haha, yeah it's something I've been working on. I'm a bit too far into the game to really change much without regressing, so if it ain't broken, I'm not fixing it! : )

  • bro ure so damn good!!,but could i ask you something,im getting the ampeg 115 bass cab and i want to run it through a gallien kruger backline 300 head,do you reccomend this?or something different? but i need to stay in that price range so thanx!and again BEAUTIFUL COVER,I LOVE BTBAM

  • Not sure man, just make sure you don't overload the cab...check the Ohm rating on both!!

  • this is very good bass head dude... what music you playing ?

  • I have that same bass and an ampeg ba115,but cant get the same tone as you do,i have my amp at the same settings you do but not my bass, what are your settings?

  • My Ampeg fried a few weeks ago so I couldn't tell you, but if I can remember correctly, I played through the bridge pickup with the lows boosted a mid and rolled back on the highs and had flat mids.

  • nice job man, i have the same bass except mine has gold harware. sounded great.

  • thats really amazing dude, u got hella skill...

  • Man I really appreciate that!

  • Nice job man...im learning this now so i can appreciate how difficult it is to play and it is pretty hard.

  • Appreciate it. It really isn't too hard technically, the hardest part is knowing when to come in when he pauses, because it's almost in a free-time feel. I guess that comes with just listening to it a bunch of times, haha.

  • Not bad at all dude. Great job.

  • Thanks man!

  • very nice!

what's your general set up on BA115 (style, hi, mid, low) ?

  • I have it on preset #2, with treble and bass both at about 1 o'clock, and the mids at noon. I do most of the EQing through my bass through, since it has an active preamp.

  • wat base u use?

  • nice job man. rly good cover.

  • Whoa, fast fingers. Nicely played, and nice bass!

  • Thanks man! Really appreciate it!
