  • Sad to see that Xantrex quality may have slipped with this model...I have a 12 volt Xantrex ProSine 1800 watt, 240 volt AC, in my motorhome and for the money, it's FANTASTIC....Starts and runs the reverse cycle air conditioner without any hassles at all, and will run the microwave at the same time (after the compressor has kicked in first)....I've also used it to run an electric chain saw... Yep, I have GOOD battery power.(AGM 3x120Ah.)

  • I bought one of these.

It was bad right out of the box.

I peeked inside and the circuit board had horrible solder connections everywhere.

RUN, don't walk to a decent brand such as Mastervolt or Victron.

(No financial ties, just a convert from Chinese crap)

  • @senormechanico Howdy mechanico, just curious, when you received your unit was the box sealed (with tape or stickers)? I ask because I purchased this unit through a vendor via Amazon and the box arrived without anything sealing it and I am wondering if I got an open box item. Regards

  • Meh, I'd argue that one. You can compare one Xantrex model against one competitor's model and you could come up with a winner. But product line to product line, especially in sine wave, Xantrex tears them up.

  • This is awesome! I really like the USB charger on the front. Nobody does pure sine wave like Xantrex. It's also small enough to put under the front seat of the daily driver. Thanks Brian!

  • @Greeper69 Xantrex does make some very nice inverters, but there definitely not the best there is......
