How did you make the leafs?

I made this rose quite fast, but I couldn't make the leafs (>.<) = DDD

@aumiux wow. it took me sometime to make a rose. great job! For the leave in this video. I kind just make three small leaves and twist them together with paper. sorry it is not much of help.

@4blueberry04 I haven't see anyone make a tutorial on the stem. I kinda just twisted some paper to make it look like stem. It's not the right method. If I ever show how I make this stem, people will be very disappointed.

@huiqui21 I will try. I'm trying to make most of my videos easy for my viewers. This rose is pretty hard to make. it took me 5 hours to make it. When I can explain it better, i will make a video. That is some EXTREME origami. It reminds me of these roses that was the ultimate achievement to make in welding class. Guys cut out little pieces for petals and welded it to the stem. This is much prettier. :D

@guapinho93 For the stem of this rose, If you look carefully, you can see that I basely twisted the paper into a long stick. But I do have a diagram of a stem with thorns, mainly for origami rose. But, I haven't figure out how to make it yet. When I figure out how, I will sure post a vid.

Hello Meilris? How do you do that stem and leaves? the leaves I see are actually attached to each other. I found links to make just one leaf but I can't find where to make the leaves to come in threes... Could you please put up the link to how you made those stems and leaves?

sorry for taking so long to reply. i did fold all three leaves and branch them together. But there is one guy name Tran Phu that does fold the leave in one piece. But it is really hard to get him to teach people through internet

I have a link to this rose on the side. This is pretty easy to me. There are easier ones out there. If you google "Kawasaki Rose", I think there are some base ones that you can try out.

That's no Kawasaki rose. it has a similar style, but this is hyper advanced. Closest I've seen to this wasn't origami. I badly want the name of the designer.

The closest one to this design I've seen is the Phu Tran rose which was based on the Kawasaki design.

upon closer inspection (and further education on the material) I think this is the original Kawasaki rose pattern. Very similar to the Phu Tran.

Toshikazu Kawasaki created a modified, second version of his popular rose (which is the rose presented in this video.) I've created it myself a few times - they're also in my gallery video.
