Pikachu leaves for a short time, (Only a half episode I gues x'P) and returns then, knowing he can't life without Ash. :'D

@lethal1 Ash died (figuratively) at the end of DP generation. The main character of the BW series is an immature brat calling himself Ash. Heck he's 10! You'd think the real Ash would've gotten older over all that time. Also, I didn't cry when Ash was turned to stone in the first movie. It got me choked up, but I didn't cry. There are many instances in the anime where I get choked up. (Butterfree leaving, Charizard leaving, Squirtle leaving, Bulbasaur's supposed death).
