I love this song and thinking about uploading my own playing of this song the only problem is my camera stops recording anything but the reeds.... I still might try to add it. I also love the stops of this organ but I find it soooooo much easier to play on an organ with a large echo. Thanks for posting

FANTASTIC! I cannot but have total respect for organists - the only instrument I can play is the human voice as a 1st bass. We often do this as a processional hymn at our Christmas carol service ("high" Methodist church so it's a robed choir) and I notice you pause between the 1st and 2nd lines. Our organist doesn't so that's 2 lines all in one breath and more "plainsong-like" - this hymn always strikes me as a cross between hymn and plainsong.

I haven't actually seen nor played the organ in Liverpool Cathedral but wouldn't mind getting my hands on it. I have a DVD of it though. I don't play Piano cheers.
