the tuareg are the product of mixing races in sahel and afterwards they settles near the fulani nomads and adopted their culture like wearing blue clothing and in this video the author has mixed tuaregs and fulani in the same video. On tv fulanis and tuaregs usually go under the same name as they live nearby each other like in Niger and Mali. It is ignorance.

It is interesting how people view race and ethnicity from one part of the world to the next. In the Caribbean, be it Spanish, French, Dutch or English speaking, being half white gives you the privilege of saying you're white and deny your blackness. In the USA, being mixed with any % of African automatically makes you simply black. In Brazil, they came up with 132 different terms to self identify. Everyone feels they are right within their own culture. Traveling and Listening helps a lot!

At 2:54 They guys with the yellow face paint are NOT Tuareg they are Fulani. The "Wodaabe" or "Bororo" people are Fulani nomads and speak Fula languages.
Fula is closely related to Wolof and both are "Senegambian" languages under the "Niger Congo" language family of which "Bantu" Languages are a member of.
Fulani for all practical purposes are West Africans and have an origin in West Africa. They are much different from the AfroAsiatic speaking Tuareg.

The original Berber people of North Africa are the people now known as the Haratins. They are a Black oasis dwelling people. White skin did not evolve in Africa. Modern day Berbers are the result of mixture between the ancient Aethiopid Haratins and Eurasian people (West Asian and European). There were over 3 million European slaves in North Africa between 1100AD and 1500AD. There has been significant migration since the founding of Carthage as well. Berbers as essentially a mixed people.

In term of genetics and in terms of facial features, Black people are by far the most diverse people on the planet. All the features found amongst every other group of people on the planet can be found amongst Black African peoples and then some.

the berbers were originally a moorish tribe. Moors as everyone know are what the greeks called black people in general. It was equivalent to the words black or negro today. They didn't start to mix until the 700's and 800's when arabs started invading northern africa for slaves and to convert people to islam. This is when the berbers adopted their current arab/islmic culture. This is fact. The arabs and the Moors that adopted islam invaded Spain and Italy.

Since its a fact that berbers were a moorish tribe, and moors were black then why would anyone with sense think they were caucasoid. Arabs aren't caucasions, or at least they dont consider themselves caucasion so when you refer to them as caucasion you're saying that they are white. what!!!! are you serious. you went to the school of white power or something. Every time the word moor or mauri or maurus was used it referred to dark/black skin. Every example of the word being used has to do with black. The moors were always black africans. GIVE ME 1 EXAMPLE IN HISTORY WHERE THE TERM MOORE WAS USED TO DESCRIBE ARABS, JEWS, OR SPANIARDS. Even in spain alessandro di medici was called "el moro" because his mother was black.
