@belthegor It's even worse with that stupid food system. There's only eight pieces of food in the game and eatting is usually required after resting. It's quite a pain to go so far into the game only to find out you no longer have any more food to go any farther in the game without starving to death!

Honestly, starting over the game with sudden "clairvoyancy" to know exactly what to do takes the fun out of the game for me. It's no longer a mystery.

I love this game! I cheated by modding the text files in one DIR where they had all the stats. Then this game becomes cake

It was a great game on it's era, although it didn't become a top. Maybe they didn't promote it as much as they should. Very scary, I used to play it on a 640x480 small crt screen.

I just got this game off of Abandonia, man it rocks so much! It really is like horror a bit, because you're scared of every corner. The game also has great atmosphere and keeps throwing things at you. The story is weird though, I don't quite understand it. Also keep in mind that the preset characters they give you are bugged, they have lower HP and magic than if you made the identical character yourself. It's your choice if you want to go for the lower HP and more tension or not ;P

yeah, the preset stats are meant to be sort of "realistic" and reflect the characters themselves. hence why characters like robert kowalski have high strength and zero magic ability, and characters like charles weiss have low strength and high magic ability.

Do you know how I can install this on Windows XP, belthegor? - I use to have it a long time ago, and I got it again on EBAY hopefully I can get it on my comp somehow..

yeah, you need to use something called DOSBox.
