I have an older craftsman with same basic beltguard under the mower. I have the blade off, but the blade adapter does not come off as you show in the video. I notice that you lock it back in when you put it back on, but you don't show unlocking action to take it off. How does it slide off?
Hi mate, cool stuff! have you ever seen an old type? royal 42s? there is some plastic stuff under the blade, which is solid. I can not remove. Any idea? Cheers.
Hi. Just wanted to thank you for the video. I am a single Mom who does most of her repairs around the house and videos like this are a blessing :) I will be replacing the belt and oil on my Husq today. You saved me a ton of cash. Thank You! Keep it up.
I'm about to just buy the whole axle assembly & install it since I'm not sure how to fix it. The [new] belt squeals on the pulley, the drive cable has been adjusted, replaced a wheel that had stripped out teeth, so, asside from a rebuild, the part is only about $60
@svcruz here in canada i get it at an automotive store. some marinas have some too but quacker state which is good too. DO NOT BUY THE NON-DETERGENT SAE 30
Very informative I am sure a lot of people will like this info and save themselfs a lot of money. I hope to see you replace a transmission to motor belt on a craftsman tractor. I hope one comes in your shop to get it done so you can video it.
Thanks. I just found your video on the jaw puller. Great work on your videos!
