Geramny opened their arms to Declan and he is wll known there. Declan was never brought to the USA I live there and I wish more then anything to see Declan sing live. I am lucky to have a friend in Germany who has met him many times and sends me such wonderful things. Declan should be brought to the US to make the big time. He is beyond the talent we have here. Love this boy.

Your comment was so cute, but all the thing you described Declan possessing, a cute accent, a great smile and laugh aren't talents. They are physical traits. Nothing to do with an acquired characteristic. Except the second language. Declan is beautiful. i'm a fan.

At around 5:14~~ the man asks Declan if German is a hard language for him. Declan replies "I think it is and it isn't". Then the translator takes over and translates-- I think it is and it isn't. It's probably the same for the Germans (the man interjects and says "No, no") learning English. I don't know, I think as Englanders we are just a bit lazy. The Germans who can speak English are really amazing. On the first day that we were here, there were many Germans who spoke perfect English --

with us, which makes one feel a little small. For me, speaking(German) is hard, but I'm trying.

I skipped a couple words the woman said cause she went fast, etc. But it sounds like he's trying to learn some German~ he has an ear bud in his ear, they could be asking him the questions in English through that.

Especially seeing as how when the woman in pink speaks to him, she says "The first sentence people in your age learn is 'ich liebe dich'(I love you), right?"

What I was saying~When the woman says this, Declan looks a little confused and looks at the other woman. This could mean that in fact he doesn't understand German; seeing as how, if he has a translation through that ear bud, he may only be getting the planned questions for the show and what the woman said was not planned(she started out whispering in his ear, so I figure it wasn't planned). Either way, he's definitely working on learning it!
