Everytime a show loses a host, it has trouble at first. People don't remember, but when Bob Barker took over, he too was unpopular. People don't like change, but we'll get over it. :)

Barker likes Carey. Drew is likely going to be around for a while. It's a bummer you dislike the new host. With regards to Family Fued I like Richard Karn better than John O'Hurley. O'Hurley grew on me after a few weeks, but he's still not near as humorous as Karn. Most people disagree with me, though. Oh, well, it's still a good show.

Yeah who's line needs to come back i beleive the reason it was cancelled was b/c all of the references to friends on the show which caused a ratings war which friends won somehow. And now friends is gone :)

I think Drew Carey will be good for the job. I was a loyal fan of Bob's, really was, but the show needed someone else with an equally sincere personality, not a replacement, but someone who would bring something different to the show, but still be likable.

Drew may not have the same charm and swaggar that Bob Barker had, but I really like how funny he's been. He's also been a lot more friendly and down to earth with the contestants and I feel the show has benefitted from it so far.

It's Rosie O'Donnell, and they never really "wanted" her...Barker liked her, but she didn't wish to move her and her kids to CA...that said, I agree that she would've been a more unorthodox choice as host.

I feel the same way. I grew up with Drew's sitcom and Whose Line. And a few years ago I saw his Johnny Carson aperence. He was really good on there. I knew when he started hosting Power Of 10 he would be great on The Price Is Right. He was already in with CBS and he's a great host. Plus he's a lot like the contestants on Price Is Right. Working class folks everyday folks. Drew came from Cleveland, Ohio and now he's a big star but he doesn't forget Cleveland. That's cool!!

Looks to be the same size to me. Sets always look smaller in person, because the sets are designed with certain blockings in mind, which only allolw you to see the set from certain angles. Since the angles in this vid allowed the set to be seen from different perspectives, you saw the set for what it was.

I'm confident with Drew, it sounds like he is getting the feel of things on the show and knows that this show isn't about him cracking jokes. I am feeling a bit skeptical about them going on the road. Those are some big props to take with them and from what i hear the Las Vegas specials weren't that exciting. But who knows? Yeah, only the 30th Anniv. show was done in Vegas...after that fiasco, all subsequent PT specials were done from the show's home base.

But I digress...Drew's work on Whose Line shows he can handle audience participation, and I think he'll do his best to carry on TPiR's tradition.
