  • Great!!!

  • Hey, look what I ran across. This is one of my favorite tunes. I don't know if I've listened to this before or not. either way, nicely done!

  • @dmio2 Hi Dan, thanks for digging deep into the back catalog bro! Much appreciated!

  • Great job! Just learning to play myself. Can't figure out the opening bit. Got the G and C , but can't get what you do in between. Can you give me a hand?

  • Jimmy -- once again, another excellent performance. So natural -- so wonderful! All the stars to you *********************

  • Hey Brian. Thanks for the kind words! This was one of my initial forays into YT, I think it was the second vid I posted.

  • Nice job. Would like to see you do another N. Lowe song, "Cruel to be Kind." Love the sustain at the end on this one. Keep rockin'!

  • Thanks John, I'll check out Cruel to Be Kind and see what I can do. Although I'm familiar with the song, I've never played it before. Jim

  • Dam I wish I had your vocals! Nice job.

  • So many people go on about peace and understanding;

    shame they don't understand it.Perhaps the third ingred-

  • love, love, love...love, love,love... love, love, love...

    love is all we need.

    Thanks my friend from the bottom of my heart. ~ Jimmy

  • Jimmy, this is an excellent version, beautifully performed. Can you explain the little move you make between the G and the C chords? (For example, between "as I walk through" and "this wicked world.") It sounds great but I can't quite figure out how you're doing it!

  • Hey orangegolfgolf, the key is to hold the G chord with your pinky on the first string third fret. This frees up your index finger for the following riff off the G chord: second string first fret (C note), then open B note, then third string second fret (A note), then open G note, then C chord. It's a pretty simple pattern. Jimmymac

  • Aha! Thanks Jimmymac.

  • greattttt!!! love it!
