What they should have done is to replace the last two shots of Brittany Allen & Susan Lucci with shots of Ray MacDonnell & Lee Meriwether. That way, they could have paid tribute to them on their final show.
what they should've done was make the opening longer and just made a montage of all the openings that way everyone would have been included.

That opening was really cheap. That's the best they could do for AMC's 40th anniversary? They could have shown some characters from the past.
