I remember that the girl separated with her friends rob and hud and left with the army on the first helicopter..subsequently, the guys got in another helicopter which was later destroyed by the monster.

saw the movie it was the best movie experience ive had in a long time. those thing they're runnung away from are these little spider insect things that fall off the big monsters back and if they bight you then you will not stop bleeding and eventually explode. that girl that hud likes dies that way. hud and robs bro also die. rob and beth die in a nuceular blast. lily lives and the moster is still alive.

It seems as if the characters have common sense, they saw the rats running and done the same. That is a good thing. Given the team working on this, I would say it will be an enjoyable movie even if the monster doesn't live upto the hype.
