I will say that EVERYONE is at fault. While there were innocent homebuyers, there were others who knew exactly that they could not afford this. This is funny because it is true!

Funny but not true. These were 1st time buyers trusting and inquiring how the process works. Buyer hands over bank stats and tax returns trusting lender to submit what was best. Lender grabs the highest Yield Spread Premium (highest commission for them)placing them in those failing loans. Lenders verbally lies, but made it legal on paper. If you believe the buyer played a part in it. Then you claim you've lived a life with flawless transactions. We all can't be educated in every business field.

I dont even think you had to lie yourself on the docs, the broker would tell you heel fill all that stuff in, and not to worry about it. Of course signing them is all up to you.
