I actually liked The Happening. *shrugs* Wasn't that bad... I actually thought it was sort of funny...
But, what about The Watchmen? Was that 2008? Can't remember, but I know that was one of the worst movies I have ever seen! It sucked and I was disappointed because I was hoping that it was going to be cool, but no it was terrible!
@Vanisherishere It was 2009, and like it or not, it was a well-made, complex comic adaptation that was hands-down the best comic movie yet. It made sense on a level that the average, real-life viewer could appreciate. it had poetry and a message that focused on ethics. Read my review. Just because you didn't or couldn't follow it didn't make it crap.
The Happening, on the other hand, was a piece. It failed to do what it set out to do.
I would make one change, though. I don't see how you could make a worst-of list for 2008 without including "Righteous Kill" with Pacine and DeNiro. That movie was so bad an infallible cast couldn't save it.

Very good reviews of bad movies.
