@TheUnknownWords The thing that makes Rudess special (same thing with Petrucci and Portnoy) is that they don't play fast just because, but to get to compose and play more complex songs, but among everything else they freakin' nail every note. Idesu Marasy's "Senbonzakura" has a middle section at least as fast as this but way more difficult to play

The fact that there are moments like 0:31.0:33 - 1:03-1:06 1:15-1:27 and so on that even a child can play like that because the melody is very simple is only one thing to point out.

Speaking of sounds,the whole part next to 3:10 it sounded a little bit too cacophonic to me.Maybe it's matter of personal preferences.

In my opinion the only thing really necessary to play like this are really good fingers muscles.I've heard better

@tornadoazul That's the first impression when you don't know him but it's completely the opposite. Malmsteen is aaaaalways playing the same way, it gets boring... But Jordan has composed slow beautiful songs as well, like The Spirit Carries On, Through Her Eyes, State of Grace, The Answer Lies Within and many more. You should check them out, you'll change your mind ;)
