@DWhomeMedia Why Idiot? I've been a coder/designer since 2002. All my computers run Linux, I do not have Tahoma. It's a valid point, I believe Mac users also don't have it. So if your designing sites not taking that into consideration then your sites will look like shit to around 12% of the world. I use (Arial, Helvetica, "Nimbus Sans L", "Liberation Sans", FreeSans, Sans-serif); In order to satisfy all users.
@DWhomeMedia No it isn't, It's web design. I'm sure when you build a site you check it looks good in all browsers right?? Or do you just look in your favorite one and sod the rest? Maybe my comment doesn't belong here but I'm just commenting for anybody who happens to watch this that isn't using Windows so they can choose a font they do have.. Ca-Pishe??
I really love what you do Bucky however currently am living and working in Africa and internet connections here are so bad I ca'nt stream I have to download a video to watch but it kinda painful since most of the videos in this series are so short wish I could get a guge mp4 file like 1gb with everyt
Awesome tutorial's Bucky, really been helping me out a lot! But anyways, after a bit of research I found out that you can also change the -webkit- to -moz- for compatibility with FireFox, or you can use the same line of code twice in a row, one using each of the two, and it will be compatible with Chrome and FireFox, just a heads up so people know!
@venusfighter98@fabse64 Firefox's engine may suck... Google use Chrome to track EVERYTHING you do on the internet with their browser and sell that information to your ISP..... Have fun knowing that
@DarthPlaysGames Darth, unless ur a terrorist or a child molester, does it really matter wtf google or ur isp, or the government for that matter, knows what sites ur going to?
@DarthPlaysGames nah not really, I upload about 5GB/day(yes my upload speed sucks!) and I havnt been arrested for torrenting so IMO(and prob not urs lol) isnt a reason not to use chrome/chromium....I mean, if your a web designer you should have chrome, chromium, ff, ie, safari, and opera at the minimum. Otherwise how do u know how browser compatible your code is? :)
@killerbng Your upload is better than mine, im rocking a 0.6Mb up, & That's the only reason I have chrome lol rather not run the risk of downloading torrents files with it though :p
I prefer Chrome, anyway. Once you use it for the first time, it's hard to go back to the others. Good tutorial bucky! I was not expecting a video for a while, while you were in New York, so these five ones are a bonus!
@thenewboston I know most of what your doing, but you going to fast for any of us to work with you is impossible. i have no idea what to do, and what type because your going to fast. And so i please ask you to slow down and stop doing things that other people can't do in a heart beat, so yea. I ask you that one thing to consider to keep in mind, not all of us are as fast as you and none of us will ever be as fast as you, so please just take your time and explain things, stay on one subject too.!
Can't go wrong with Tahoma?? I'm sure that will look amazing on Linux.. Not.
