hey there erm I've just previously purchased a nikon d5000 and I was hoping you could help me. You know when shooting a video.. whilst recording how do you choose the point you focus on.. depth of field right ? I have no idea how to do it ! ? please reply to my wall ! Thank you so much
@manzanasfreak I need help! I would so appreciate it if you could explain this to me. I have the same camera and am curious as to how you got the focus to change from one woman to the other. Did you turn the lense? Did you press a button? It may sound dumb and amature but that's what I am! I want to make videos with contrast in focus but I can't seem to find out how to change focus
@bluedz1994 - manual focus. Its hard to manually focus when u holding the camera but easy to use tripod. I think for this clip, the focus range already pre-planned like what film makers doing. The best thing to have D5000 is able to have a movie like clip not TV style (old camcoder).
@bluedz1994 Yes, just unswitch the AF lock button on the side of your lens, it is next to the VR button (auto-focus, vibration reduction), also LOCK UR EXPOSURE -- my video explains how to lock that annoying jumpy exposure twitching
hey I am thinking about buying the 18-200mm Nikkor lens for my D5000, but was told the lens is too big for the D5000's body. is this true? I know its compatible with the camera but not sure how important it is to be balanced with the camera body it is on. would appreciate some insight ;) thanks, and great video
Nice! Very smooth...

great shot
this must be a great lens also
could be taken out of a panavision camera
a great example of proper use of framing and lighting
imagine what one could do with Nikon D3s coming out in November
