So odd - I first knew Miserlou as an Isreali dance, when I was in a travelling folkdance troupe, when I was a little girl. And get older, to find out that it's seen as this strange, delicious lounge special! I heard it as this ponderous slow, building-up-steam sort of song with strong male vocals, yet this new speed to it is growing on me!
