Robert Johnson, among the most famous Delta blues players. his song was recorded in 1937. Johnson's art has influenced generations of musicians including Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, and Eric Clapton , who called Johnson "the most important blues musician who ever lived". Although Creams version sounds different from Johnsons ('37) Skynards ('76) version sounds similar to Creams ('68)
Before he started this song he said this song is dedicated "to the people that have been here a thousand years, this goes out to the people of the mighty Navajo Nation" And thats when I went insane and rocked out to this song!

I was at the show in Detroit, and Randy made a dedication to the road crew. Not as good as the Navajo dedication, it was still pretty good.
