  • Thank you for your comments. The joystick and control system are those in the FIRST Robotics kit of parts from a few years ago. They were produced by Innovation First Incorporated (IFI Robotics) who now manufactures the VEX and VEXPro lines of robotics components. The motors are CIMs, available from VEXPro, AndyMark, or other on-line vendors and the speed controllers are Victors from VEXPro. If I were doing it over, though, I might consider the Jaguars from Luminary. And yes, AM wheels.

  • Nice work!!! What joystick, control board, and dc motor drivers do you use? Please reply to siotg@yahoo.com

  • are those andymark wheels

  • Well, typical... I respond to comments 4 to 12 months after they are posted. Gear ratio is 12:1, and the battery can be wherever you want it to be. In this case it is on the side to counterweight the compressor and lift that is going on the other side.

  • What gear box are you using, that seems to be a extremely low ratio, because of how easily the wheels are jumping.

  • Battery has to be on back...

  • THe battrey has to be on back btw

  • so what does it do exactly?
