@MrAlexH1991 Actually they are lip syncing. If you watch their mouths, they don't match the audio. I would imagine this parade was SUPER long, therefore they would have had to perform MANY times, an obviously strenuous task so instead of focusing on screaming out the song, they just danced to a track of themselves singing.

The soloist is off key and out of breath. Have YET to see video of a performance from BHS or JBHS where that isn't the case at some significant part of each number. After years of hearing raves about these show choirs, I just do NOT get it when I see them. They're enthusiastic, and real crowd pleasers - but on everything from synchronization of dance moves, to the very uneven voices, to frantic but uninspired choreography, I just don't get the orgasmic, hyperbolic reviews and comments. Meh.

it makes no since on why they get invited only because they went on opera.. who i'm i am correct is filmed in Chicago about 45 min from another show choir who may not be as well know but definitely good

because they're one of the best. They didn't choose what to sing for Hong Kong, the Hong Kong tourism board asked them to select those songs. If you watch their competitive performances you can obviously tell there is a level of professionalism among them that few can match. Please don't judge a group based on one performance.
