But wait, you're missing one of the key steps habeats....editing. And if it was boring, I'd probably not have so much fun doing it. Beats the crap out of working on a computer all day! It's like I get to play in front of a microphone. AND GET PAID! (:
True that! but its a different thing when you dont have time to edit that mutch, then everything have to be as sync as possible....Beats the crap out of working on a computer all day! tell that to the editors..hahaha! just joking..Keep on making those sounds! Peace.
Hi Mike, this is inspiring. I am interested to meet with and maybe work with some foley artists for live performance and dance work. after seeing this, i am also interested to become one myself! do you know how i could research more this field in australia? any contacts or suggestions?
Hey Tim. Unfortunately I have no contacts in the field. I am relatively new to this as well. Been doing it for about a year and a half. Best advice, try to get into an audio post facility and get a job. Thats what I did. I had done lots of sound stuff on indie films and it was my work that got me in the door. Plus the place I work was in need of new talent. I started cutting dialogue and VO's and then fell into it. And I love it. Good luck and I hope you can find something!
Wich microphone did you use? That kind of sounds are too low in level.

Nice. How do you decide what type of clothing to wear in order to best fit what's on screen?

Perfectly done Mike, ...most people don't realize that you really DO have to re-enact every single movement so carefully. Great example, man!
