you had the same problem I used to have, after he lifts the hi hat in the groove, just keep going with the hi hat shuffle, dont add a pause after it, it gives it a stopped sound, fix that, then your good :)

during the samba part, the accents are on timbales it sounds like (Wampler) Really nice job man! Drums sound good too. I like the cowbell improve on the Samba.
