FFX-2 Defeated Shuyin only pressing X

This is a cool boss fight with the music, the fact that your fighting a character who acts like a party member, Tidus' overdrives and the voice cameos. If only it was a good deal harder. He has quite a bit of health but it could be a lot more and the damage he deals...uh it might as well be noting. Come on they should of went all out with the final boss of the game. At least give him counter attack.

Also I think in my version he says "1000 years of pain" directly after saying agony.

They didnt make this boss strong because this was made simply as a little project to answer where Tidus went if he disappeared or not because fans were left with questions! There wasn't a plan on making a x-2 in the first place

If we are going from everything that square says then you are going to have to except the theory of the Tidus being the great grandson of the dream. The fact still remains that they are not the same person, a 1000 years had past since Zanarkand was destroyed, the Fayth's memory of Shuyin can be easily distorted since then therefore dreaming a new person "Tidus". Infact Tidus could never be the same person as Shuyin truly because the Fayth dreamt him and not Shuyin. Tidus is more of a public eye version of Tidus. I once accidently ran into him, and my team were all Mascots. It took SO long, but I finally managed to beat him. He was SUCH a bitch. The most annoying thing is his attack which absorbs HP from you and gives it to him. But keep healing and attacking and he should go down.

They made him way too weak. They should've given him more of Tidus's moves, like Haste, Slowga, Delay Buster, etc., too, instead of just his overdrives. Or at least have Vegnagun firing stuff at you from the background or something. If you are lucky you can beat Shuyin in literally 1 attack, but sadly you need to be low on health, and for some reason he likes to attack the person with the lowest health with Terror of Zanarkand (at least with me)

Not for defense. I equipped Muscle Belts, Power Wrists, and accessories for raising max HP. The Zanarkand attack doesnt damage much. On level 60 or higher, you shouldnt have trouble with it.

The reason why they have the same moves is because Shuyin is the real Tidus. The Fayth remembered Shuyin because he was a popular blitz player. But when they try to dream him up, they didnt get it exact, and Tidus was formed. It also explains why they looked alike. This is just a rumor.
