This is almost an infomercial for glyphosphate. We don't want you poisoning our natural areas. There's simply no spray for global warming.

Lie #1: "they are taking over niches in our little ecosystem...pretty soon you have a natural community that is dominated by non-native stuff...and you start losing diversity..." This is xenophobia ("winning the battle". There is no evidence that invasive species disrupt ecosystem services, there is evidence that the introduction of non-natives has increased biodiversity in many instances. In all cases, human activities and the lack of predators are the problem, not the species themselves.
