Always loved this helicopter... born when I was born and still a fine attack helicopter. It must be nostalgia, because whilst there are better attack helicopters out there, this is still my favourite :)

@MarioSavioTZM In this world, there will not be global peace for a long time. In order to ensure our safety, we must maintain an army, navy, naval combat corps, and air force. Many of those watching this are purely admiring this amazing machine. Do not automatically assume that we are all gun ho about the current situation in the Middle East. We would all like to see peace, and by viewing this we are honoring those,both living and dead, who work or have worked, to preserve peace.

Not the media, not the government, not the army, not the helipcopter pilot. @MarioSavioTZM It may come as a surprise to you that I have read all three. I have come to my own conclusions from reading both sides. I am not going to debate the two wars in the middle east with you at the moment, that should be saved for elsewhere. Like I said, I support the muse of a strong military until the presence of that military becomes useless. As for this video, we merely come here to gawk at this beautifully constructed chopper. Let us do that in peace.

It's fine, I don't wish to debate it either, it is beyond debate and I am past the point where I'd ever try to persuade anyone that those wars are unjust, colonial, criminal wars for geopolitical reasons and resource aquisition. I'm guessing you haven't seen the video 'collateral murder', or again you watched with those glasses. That's what I think when I see these choppers.Peace

These helicopters provide accurate and lethal close air support for soldiers in the field. With the advent of the Z model they will remain unmatched. This will act as a deterrent to current and potential enemies and provide protection for current and potential allies. These provide freedom by preserving peace.

I still have the two Vietnam Era Helicopter Models I put togethor as a kid and spent countless hours playing with..AH-1 and a UH-I with rocketpods and twin .30 cals on each side.. That AIRCAV Shield was tooooo cool also..Thanks Cyber, brings back memories
