The gas giant may had captured the terrastrial planet that your spore creature had live in and so the gas giant as it own moon soon it'll destroy the captured the terrastrial planet, while it got destroyed it soon will become litte planetesimals and make a moon with your pieces of your planet and other peices.

@LegoDinosaurMonkey I misworded My description. What I ment to say Waaaaassssssssss- "My Gas giant ended up becoming in a Close orbit to my planet, but it was slower and eventually faded behind. My moon I didn't have finally showed and it was a cube planet" I would show it, but I recently reformated my computer. But I would try to learn if it is possible for modders to mod this Gas Giant Moon-Homeplanet in because that would be cool. :D

hi frogzisdabitch, i was wondering in Galaxic adventures can you make a moon or planet orbit another in the adventure editor cause i want my adventure to take place on a moon but to do this i need a planet for it to orbit it. if that makes sense or can you make drag a planet from sporedia and place it in the map so it looks like it is moving. can you help me out?

@yoerisss I think I read something about that. It's a glitch. Since you can't go there, I think you have to convince an ally to attack them. Other NPCs will be able to take them over, but you can't.

@EmberBurn333 Well, a Gas Giant doesn't give off too much radiation. Infact, Scientists believe that there is a better chance of life being on a moon orbiting a Gas giant, and that Earth was just lucky. The only reason they believe this, is because life on Earth wouldn't be possible without the help of the Earth's celestial child, the moon. They say without the Moon Earth's axis would be unstable, There will be no Tides,but high winds, also a higher Water level. Earth wouldn't look like Earth :P

in spore there are no moons because moons turn around planets not the sun so there are no real moons in spore

Actually, some moons orbiting Gas Giants are very close to the rings.

But, that gas giant was a little too small, and so were the rings.

What a beautiful world, and awesome night sky! I suspect that moons around gas giants really are where most of the universe's creature life is born since gas giants seem a far more likely means of stabilizing a world's axial tilt than use of a large moon made by a lucky collision.

It may look different, but remember that you're in the Creature stage, about a billion years away from the Space Stage - so a lot can happen in that time...

Amazingly, there is a glitch where a CPU Empire has colonized a gas Giant, it produces something called white spice, it is the rarest in the game and cannot be traded, you can get the colony by purchasing the system, sadly you still cannot visit the colony for it still forbids you from landing on it and because it is classed as a T0, it stops producing spice when you buy it, but hey, now you can brag to your friends you have a colonized gas giant!
