anybody watch top gear sunday? they were making a big song and dance about the 458 being faster and better than anything else, especially at the end when they were tying to beat the 458's time, but the aventador and the mclaren both got round the top gear track almost 3 seconds faster... someone care to explain?

lamborghini always sounds and looks better than ferrari. and unlike ferrari it is very durable lower maintenance and more mod friendly. just look at the twin turbo gallardos so i would say if you are in the market for a supercar, save yourself a hundred grand, buy a slightly used lambo and have it fitted with twin turbos to the tune of 1000+++ hp.

@rebatotem It's like comparing a private jet and a fighter jet. Cause in terms of practicality, my Focus is better than both, the Veyron and the 458. I have better MPG, a bigger boot and I don't feel speed bumps tapping into my spine. But the Focus and the Ferrari is in no way comparable, the price tag should be a sign of that.

The 458, great as it is, is till a car that will eventually be forgotten, just like the 430 before it. While the Veyron is going to be set in stone as the fastest car of this decade.

And let´s not forget, the 458 has already been beaten by various other cars, such as the McLaren MP47/12C, while the Veyron remains king of speed.
