My favorite areas to drive on I-24 are Chattanooga, over Nickajack Lake, and awesome video you made at my third favorite, Monteagle Mountain. Have you been through there since?
Thanks for showing me this ride during the daytime. The only time I have done this is during the night. Albeit, seeing the city lights in the valley below going through Missionary Ridge, and Lookout Mountain was quite nice at night.
My trip on I-24 ended though at I-59. I was cutting down to get to AL-35 to get to Huntsville later that night.
I've always thought there should be what I call a "push past" rule driving in the left lane....in other words, an effort should be made to keep pushing past the traffic to the right, unless it exceeds the speed limit by more than 10mph.
great video jim. I loved the comments about the left lane hogs. By the way, nice job of working your way through traffic. Don't hold your breath for any extra lanes. What was that idiot doing in the left lane with a trailer?
Don't get me started on the left lane hogs, lol, these people should be ticketed. If law enforcement would give left lane blocking 10% of the attention it gives to drunk driving & seat-belts things might improve.
I never really thought of it that way before but you are correct. It seems that blocking the left lane causes a lot of lane shifting and jockeying which undoubtedly causes many accidents, probably more than drunk drivers. I guess that the tickets don't pay enough to make it worthwhile for them. I didn't know you have left lane bandits in Georgia. lol
This is bad ass! Great song. Nice road footage! You rock!

Really cool scenery and video! Your videos always rock. Strangely, I uploaded a timelapse driving video with this song a few days ago.

Yeah, that pisses me off to no end -- left lane hogs.
Good video. You get a chance to ride up US 27 (I-124)? It's a nice freeway up there.

Thanks,
I did not get a chance to go up US-27 this time but I did film some of it in December 2007, it's still on YouTube I think.

You're welcome.
I'll search for it, to see if it is.

Georgia seems to be a breeding ground for them, lol.
