The French aren't really bad... they are just really into national pride... like they are one of the only places in western Europe that doesn't have americanized things, like the word Bar... they write it in French... Not the word for bar... in Italy and German you often see "Bar" itself written on a bar and that of course is not and Italian or German word, to use and odd example in England Bar are called Pubs, now it's like if they would say Bar just because it was american when the word is really pub. The French haven't americanized themselves which is good, however some of them are arrogant about this fact
I'm not sure about the Chinese but if they use our characters to write it it's the same as Italian
