I would think hitters might pick up on that pitch with the ball being tucked back in your hand, especially cause you have the big arm swing back in your delivery. A good way to throw a change (if you turn your drop over) is to bring your thumb up against your pointer finger..then turn it over like your drop. Both your drop and change will look the same and you will have good down spin on your change now as well.

i tryed to do mi pitch different but it kept rolling when i had mi fingers on it but mi coach want mi to do it fast and wat stacey said if u have ur palm on the ball it slows it down and thats exactly wat i do and like i said i only put mi fingers on it then it kept rolling on the ground and now im just gonna have to do the slow pitch unless i keep practicing but mi game is tomorrow 4/16/2011 and its dark its 9:08 where i live and mi game is at 12:00 in the morning so i have to get up early
