I'm Korean/American, born and raised in Chicago. I love Kimchi Jigae. I don't eat it often, but I found this one place that makes it the way I like it. Unfortunately, they hate me because I can't speak Korean very well. It sucks to be Korean and be treated like shit by other Koreans.

im korean and i live in a community full of Koreans. thank god. i wonder the same thing you do. most of my korean friends dont seem to hate other asians or koreans. but other asians like japanese and chinese do. but we didnt do anything wrong to them, therefore, i dont care how they feel.
