The video is highly misleading, we don't NEED the Madhahib, we WANT them because they suite to our hawa. The early Muslims never followed anyone except the Prophet. Only later generations created these schools through to whispers of Shaytan, to mislead mankind from the worship of Allah. Rather then to worry about the Sunnah, people are more concerned with what their Imaam said.

brother, the same way we go back to Sahih Bukhari to read the ahadith of the prophet s.a.w, we use the madhahib to learn the fiqh and understanding of these ahadith.

All of the great scholars whom we follow today followed a madhab. Sh. Al Islam ibn Taymiyya was a Mujtahid of the Hanbali Madhhab, and also Ibn Al Qayyim r.a.a. Also, Sh. Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab was a Hanbali. Also, recently, Sh. Ibn Othaymeen r.a.a was a Hanbali scholar.

Imam al-Bukhari himself didn't follow a Madhhab, neither did Imam Muslim and both of their collections are believed to be the most authentic. Those books were their fiqh also and they followed strictly what they had collected. Madhhahib are only a later conspiracy and not from the Sunnah.

This was because these scholars were Mujtahideen, they were capable and qualified to derive rulings themselves using the primary sources.

Brother if you have evidence to support your arguement from the early scholars, please, share it by all means, but none of the great scholars told us to abandon the madhahib. This is one of the many misconceptions people have about the Salafi's. They believe that we, do not believe in Madhahib, whereas, we indeed do. As Sheikh Abu Adnan says in the video, and he is from Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah.

Well history is evidence, the Madhahib didn't exist until the fourth or fifth centuries, neither of the scholars whom the Madhhahib are attributed ever followed a existing Madhhab nor did they form these Madhhahib. Most importantly the Quraan is clear, "..if you love Allah then follow me, and Allah will love you..."

Again brother this is because the 4 imams (and many scholars) reached the level of Mujtahid or Mujtahid Mutlaq, thus they are allowed to derive their own rulings. As laymen and students of knowledge, we follow these scholars, who understood the quran and sunnah better than us.
