I play it on my trumpet... I really don't like how saxes sound, though, so I'm probably biased.

It sounds VERY good on clarinet, I have a recording of someone playing it on Clarinet, and it sounds much better than a sax playing it.

Is swearing necessary? People take better to comments when you're not swearing. You could have said "Shelby, if you're so much better, you'd be out playing not commenting." just as easily and I'd have gotten the point.

I play as often as I can, but I'm a student and have school and an education in my way of being a musician.

If you read some of my other comments, you'd notice that my sax-bias is why I don't think they played it well.

Oh yes please tune b4 playing this chart! And as for that mic on the alto i personally would just take the one from the vocalist slap it on a stand and work with that. You can do so much more with your amplified sound if the mic isn't always right there gettin every little sound.

well in the original, the bass player played Eb for 3 beats then mid Bb to low Bb, but in jazz u can do whatever u want lol, its... well jazz
