  • I had the honor of being the travel planner for Spin City during it's move from L.A to the NYC Studio; and I can say with conviction that cast were some of the most genuine and nicest folks I've worked for. I was with them for three months, but it was three MEMORABLE months. :-)

  • My mom and I were the only ones in the house who watched this show religiously, when this episode aired, we both cried like there was no tomorrow. When Michael J. Fox runs out to hug the cast, it's so emotional, and the song is so fitting.

  • oh man, I just watched this clip and i couldn't finish it...... the other actors truly seem to be emotional, which must have made it even harder to leave them and the show,

Hes one of my favorite actors and I wish him well. He seems to be doing great though..he seems to have a happy family life and he advocates on behalf of Parkinsons. Man, I wish more actors were like him...I admire his strength even though Im sure at times its not so easy.

Wish MJF all the best in the world.

  • soo touching, i remember watching this on tv and i cried soo much.. it never went the same with charlie sheen! and you can see how the actors are sad too =/

  • I defy anyone to not well up at this.

  • the goodbye between carter and mike earlier in the episode ranks as one of the most touching scenes I have seen. two best friends saying goodbye, it really left me in tears.

  • that was cute he hugged Micheal Gross

  • I think connie had a hard time holding back the tears in this scene. You work with someome for so many years, you develop rapports with them, and when the very energy that keeps the show alive leaves, its a difficult adjustmemt

  • I hope MJF and his famiy are doing okay.

  • hes the best

  • Do you have the full episode of Mike leaving?

  • That still bring tears to my eyes. "Glory Days" indeed. Love you Mikey!

  • Man, that LAST shot of michael j fox is just...it's just sad. he looks so awesome but it's saddening at the same time...when he left in seasons 4, i didn't laugh at all in season 5 with charlie sheen. season 6 improved but not good enough

  • fox was such a great character on the show. This clip is sad

  • I want to cry...

  • What an incredible moment. Deffinetly the death of the true spin city. Fox is a true hero in my books.

  • I agree that Fox was the real star on Spin City and when he left the show went with him. Well said..

  • the first time i watched this i bawled so much!

  • I love shows like Friends, That 70's show etc but i think the ending for this season beats any ending on any season of Friends. It's so emotional when Fox hugs everyone! He's such a great guy.

  • I was in 8th grade when Michael J. Fox gave us his farewell. I was in tears and still think that this is one of the most bittersweet endings in sitcom history.

  • i agree with you 100%!!! he's now on 4 episodes of FX's "Rescue Me" with Dennis Leary

  • he is so funny in that XD

  • Stuart looks very emotional after being hugged

  • locklear looks like an anorexic clown here. bitch

  • Omg... When he hugs "The Mayer" he looks almost exactly like a teenager...! 0-0 (Marty MacFly anyone...? ^^;)

Especially with that red/white jacket. ;D

  • This is the moment where Spin City should've stopped. The most touching scene in the whole series. A tear in your eye. R.I.P. Spin City.

  • for the show's sake, i agree. but fox didnt want it to end with his leaving. and apparently hes good friends with charly sheen so he was happy he took over

this clip is so sad tho :( ah well, i suppose we can go back and watch 4 seasons with him. thats something

  • wats the song

  • Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen.

  • sad :(

  • Man, I was so sad when Michael J. Fox. left this show. He was so damn funny, especially his facial expressions. Charlie Sheen was even on Mike's level.

  • sorry accidently pushed the post comment button but anyway it's like he was never on the show.they basicly stabbed him in the back. when he left the show should've stop making episodes

  • You know, I think they should have done a spin off of this show instead of continuing it and replacing someone. I think that would have made more sense.

  • i cried when i watched this. when the show first started i went from "oh i can't wait to get home and watch spin city and see what funny and stupid things mike does today" then when he left because of his PD i still watched the show. then after watching 2 episodes with charlie sheen in it i was like "why bother if mike's gone". i think when mike left they should've ended the show. he was the main character. they tried to replace h

  • I just saw this episode. I've seen only a few episodes of the series, but I think that this episode should have been the series finale.

  • The guy who plays Stuart looks very emotional. Nothing wrong with that, who wouldn't be?

  • Him and Michael came a long way. At the beginning, they couldn't stand each-other.

  • @fela7045 Alan Ruck and Michael J Fox didn't like each other? I thought MJF stood up for Alan to get the role of Bondek. Where'd you read/hear they had tension at the beginning?

  • was this b4 or after Charlie Sheen took his place? because i think MJF came bak after his parkinsons lighted up right?

  • No. Parkinson's disease does not "lighten up" - it's degenerative. This was before Charlie Sheen took MJF's place, and he never came back. Unfortunately.

  • MJF came back for other episodes. His final episode was the one where he got married.

  • Oh, I forgot about those! I guess I meant though that he never came back and replaced Charlie as a regular.

  • why he left :(

  • It's sooo sool how Micheal Gross was there! Great two-parter!!!!!!

  • what was this episode called??

  • Goodbye..pretty simple

  • the best man alive <3

  • true.. he's best of all.. in evry sort of way..!!

amazingly awesome person in d whole world...

jst cant help falling in love with him....

  • I feel just the same way as u ;)

He's is so awsome, so simple is it!

And i feel so sorry for him cuz of that awfull diseas. :/

  • I find this episode the most unforgettable.

  • Yeah has somebody posted this episode I've been trying to find it?

  • I'm still posting episodes of Spin City. I don't want to post this episode yet until I get most of them up. To me it makes no sense to post Michael's goodbye, and then post another one with him in it.

  • why did he have to leave michael come back to spin city

  • He has Parkinson's disease. That illness gets worse throughout time. He decided when the time would come that he would set up his own foundation for Parkinson's research. He came back for a guest appearance since he didn't completely retire from acting.

  • By far the best episode of Spin City. Michael J. Fox is a role model for all ages. I grew up with this guy. One of my first movies was Back To The Future and as soon as the credits began to role, I knew I would see more of him. He is one of the best actors we have had in a while. I am VERY sad to see him leave the acting world especially when it is being taken over with Lidnsy Lohan and Brittany Spears and other whores and screw ups. Can somebody please post the full episode? It is a classic!

  • lump in the throat time...setimental and done so well...gl mjf!!

  • caro mike, ti adoro, amo il tuo modo di recitare, di ridere, il tuo coraggio e la tua forza. Sarai sempre nel mio cuore...elena

  • read his book Lucky man

read It If you have not

this Is not spam or anything

It really Is a good book

    Michael J. Fox Is cool

    always has been

  • (k)

  • :( sad...

  • This episode was on Dutch television yesterday. Really great last episode.

  • I still remember this episode. Says Flaherty worked with Blackhand to protect/retain the Mayor from being investigated. 24/5/2000.

  • You weren't the only one crying. I litterally grew up with MJF. I have a neurological disability myself so I wasn't upset he has a disability. I was just mad-sad..etc he was leaving acting when the world is filling up with Brittney Spears and other hacks.

  • i cried when i saw this! he is simply great!

  • brilliant,hes great!god bless him

  • I couldent stop crying when this aired, but i guess its a good emotion and MJF deserves it. You are the best Mike, please get well <3

  • I was crying when he went argh mike you were a great actor

  • when I saw this on tv, I bawled. SO MUCH!

  • And he still looks like he's 20, Great actor indeed

  • i was there too! i was the writers intern. i had to get a cake or something. stupid cake...

  • What a guy...

  • hell yeah! MJF rules!

  • This is the saddest part.. Bruce Springteen alleviates a little pain with this great song but that's it... bring it back

  • hi piggadave, who sang this song ans what his the title

  • Glory Day's Bruce Springsteen

  • think you

  • mr fox kicks ass

  • I was at this taping. What a great moment-quite emotional for everybody! Among the guests in the audience was Michael's wife, Cam Neely, and Heidi Klum. Best last episode ever!

  • i cryed when i found out he had parkinsons hes was such a great actor he was just one of them that would speek his mind whatever it was he didnt have to make something up to say! ohh and i herd that someone said he could have got parkinsons when he amd eLeo Amd Me cuz alot of people had it they said!

  • Why did the show go on with Charlie Sheen? When Mike left the show should have ended coz Michael J. Fox is the only actor for that part.

  • Well Michael thought very highly of the cast and he didn't want the cast and crew to be out of work so he kept executive producing but he let Charlie Sheen take over the show and they moved to LA. But I agree. Michael J. Fox was the true star of Spin City.

  • That sound like Michael. :) I pray that ge gets better.

  • It went downhill after he left

  • Oh I agree!!!

  • He's the best.

  • This is so touching!

  • I love Michael! when I saw this the first time my tears just rolled down my cheeks.. soo sad !

  • This makes me cry.

  • Michael is a great comedy actor, Family Ties, Back to the Future, Spin City - all brilliant. So sad he got Parkinson's.

  • I cried so much at the final episode! I miss Spin City!!!!!!!

  • omgosh i'm gonna cry! :( i love you michael!

  • Spin City was the best show ever. With MJF, when Charlie came, it went downhill

  • Totally. They needed to have gotten anybody else if attempting to replace Mike. Charlie's always given me the creeps--not at all what the show was supposed to be about.

  • I remember when I saw this episode. It was just all to sad! MJF is just an so great persone;)A so good rol model to everyone.

  • yes.

michael flaherty is like the ultimate idol.

  • I remember it too, I think it was live, but i'm not sure.

It's so sad about him, and to think that his career as an actor is over, is just so sad.

  • Cried so hard when this aired...sweet guy...

  • what a great friend to everyone, actually what a great overall person:)

  • Sniffle...so touching! Thanks for the clip.

  • what a nice guy:)

  • He always seemed like the neighbor next door you wanted.

  • thanks for uploading.

danke fürs uploaden (sieht nach kabel 1 aus, stimmt's?) ;-)
