When I was watching this video I was actually mad.. Don't even know why. :( sorry but please let me express my self a little bit but here!! The mother was so dump that all she did is crying basically. She needed to calm down and help the boy but!!!........And she must be strict and even mean to the boy, that he wonldnt change his clothes because he thought his mother would get mad. But I understand it must be VERY tough for her, and I can tell she loves her boy-3

@OStarstarstar I believe the mother panic, as a Nurse I have seen so many different reactions of parents when trauma occurs to their child. Another possible view point of the boy not changing his clothes is that he wanted to keep on going to light the fire and toast their bread and he did not think of the possibility of danger. Every so often I re-watched this video. The Shriner Hospitals do so much for children.

The Former Soviet Block countrys do not have a 911 system they insted use 01 for Fire, 02 of Police 03, for Electric Company and I think 04 is for Department of public Works. I rember seeing this in a Ukrainian phone book they are the first numbers seen on the first page of the book.

@sweetlife031 it sounds like "Uv-yen-ko". Not sure how it'd be spelled though. The Russian language has some very different characters in it such as a mix of a backwards N, left and right-facing K, and an O with a slash through it.

I have a friend who gives money to Shriners Hospitals in Pennsylvania.

We went with him when he visited the one in Philadelphia over Thanksgiving vacation.

He must give a large amount based on the way the staff treated him. He looked embarrassed and kept trying to deflect the attention they were lavishing all over him.

I was a tad jealous and couldn't understand why he would be embarrassed that people were treating him like he was an angel of Mercy.

The outher com block countys like East Germany fell in 1989, Bulgaria, and Poland fell in 1990 and Romania Hungray, and Czechaslovikia fell in 1989. Yugoslovia fell in 1994.

By 1961 and Nikita Khrushchev's rise to power, Hoxha (leader of Albania) realized that the Soviet Union was moderating its strict Communist economy, and moveing quickly toward better relations with the West. Looking for ideological Suport, Hoxha found it in Mao Tse Tung and the People's Republic of China. These relations ended in 1978 when China started to open up to the West as well.

@timhomer2009 The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia formally dissolved in 1992 amid the Yugoslav Wars. They still printed currency with the name Republic of Yugoslavia till 1994 at there reserve bank. which you can find in bulk lots on Ebay

I was burned april 19th, 1990. And was in the same hospital at the same time. I remember being in the tubroom at the same time on occasions. Bath time was a very painful experience, because the dead skin and other junk had to be removed everyday.

The tubroom is among some of the most painful memories, mind you i was also burned much worse than this kid. He even got to go to disney world before he went home, or so i heard. I went in 1994 as a wish from make-a-wish.
