This level was a pain. I remember the final battle and I thought Pikachu would be so useful using Discharge, but he couldn't use it until the Rhyperior was defeated, and that wasn't until the very end. Luckily, Cresselia had a little more common sense than most other players say she did.

I managed to beat Darkrai, but my partner wouldn't kill the stupid Rhyperior so I could use discharge. With me being a pikachu, all of my attacks but one kept getting sucked up by the annoying 'lightning rod' pokemon -:(. I'm sure I speak for all other pikachu players who hate that too.

also....use freaking chimchar n ur partners squirtle, squirtle can back you up against rock, ground and other water types while your mach punch, and other hellawesome moves can really bring down the enemy, theres just ONE thing, you need to be strategically good in fighting a boss, i know i am when i defeated the other bosses but if i can beat darkrai, you can too! besides you can kill darkrai becaquse hes a dark type, and your half a fighting type..........

like i died 5 times before FINALLY geting to darkrai, i had 2 reviver seeds and i killed all the heavy damage-dealing henchmen first, then when it was just darkrai,me n my nooby partners, darkrai kept on using double team(keep chesto berrys useful, or lots of heal seeds, or ur partner knows...??????uproar or something) i had trouble attacking a darkrai that kept on using double team n i couldnt hurt him so i ditched a geopebble or gravelstone it dealt 20 damage.......then darkrai died...........

It took me forever too. I Googled it and got a good, effective answer. Bring lots of X-eye, sleep and paralyze seeds to use on Darkrai and take care of the other Pokemon while he has yet to recover. Then use your hardest attacks on Darkrai over and over. Bring plenty of revive seeds too. Hope I helped :)

@SoulFang14 Reviver seeds, and stun seeds. those are essential. make sure to hit darkrai with the stun seed, then take out his minions. if darkrai spams double team, you are never gonna beat him.

Don't restart. Just keep trying! If your HP gets low, or if you run into a Rhyperior let your partner do it. If your partner is also bad against them, have Cresselia do it. It didn't take me too long to get to the boss, but I was WAY overleveled. I know grass types are bad here, but they level up so quickly that it's not that big of a problem.
