Yeah, lets forget about our fallen soldiers and think of the Iraqi people. While we're at it lets just ignore the thousands of innocent people killed by Saddam. I guess that Saddam killing innocent Iraqi people on purpose is OK but when the US does is on accident it's an atrocity. I guess when you overlook the fact Saddam killed innocent people it's easy to say our motive for this war is simply oil. Codepink is beyond ignorant.

Have you actually talked to someone who is in Code Pink? I have, and they did not say that all people in the millitary were war criminals. What they said was that our military was occupying a nation that had never attacked the US, and that the endless war envisioned by Bush's administration was damaging to the world and to the USA.

I don't know what videos you mean. My experience with Code Pink, which has been fairly extensive, has given me the impression of people who are pretty thoughful and balanced in a conversation, but theatrical and attention-grabbing in front of cameras. Because that's how you have to be, frankly, to be noticed at all.

OK, if they said that, then they should not have. If one of them saying that is enough to earn all Code Pinkers your emnity, then you will probably consider them your enemy. I think you might want to step back a bit, though, and look at the context they said it in, as well as their overall message, which is about the necessity of learning to live without war, not attacks on soldiers.

well as a veteran (I supose that means war criminal) I have a right to picky about the company I keep......I know a group like PINK has all kinds this is similar to the Vietnam days when I had to hold my nose around some of the other activists because they had some wacky views on other issues.....but at my age I don't need to belong to a group so I can afford to set an insanely high bar..LOL

we the people created a republic.......the governmental structure is a republic...not a democracy so quit crying about plutocrats...the difference involves majorty rule as an absolute as opposed to majority rule in those areas consented to by a super majority....and the majority be damned in all other areas..

LOL..is that all you have?......where does it say the majority rules in all matters?....where does it say referendums supercede Congress?.....the majority rules only in those areas agreed to in the social contract....to amend the contact (Constitution) to expand the domain of the majority requires the consent of a super majority..so majorities themsleves do not become tyrannical
