  • Hi @DirtyDeck, No i only do some tongue blocking at the start..the hole thing tongue blocking is to difficult for me!hehe

    Good luck with it!

  • Nice job. Good tone. Get yourself a green bullet mike and you're ready to go.

  • I got a Shure greenbullet microfoon at home but no amplifier! Its better that way, keeps the neighbours happy!Hehe

    Thanks for youre nice comment.

  • netjes

  • Nice!

  • Whow!

  • sweet!

i can totally play the intro :D

  • lol hes rocking back an forth like a mad man LMAO!!!!

  • lol..great comment

  • Awesome! You hit those notes, and bring it home with deep heavy sound...love it

Definately one of my favorite Little Walter tunes. I just started learning, and had the nerve to post a video. It's a little rusty, but getting there. If you get a chance, let me know what you think!

  • Thanks for your nice comment!

  • you are deffinatly listening to little walter ain't ya?

what else needs to be said about the best blues Harmonica player that ever lived that hasn't already been said b4?

how 'bout this angle... it's 2009 more than 50 years after walter played those licks for chess... we are still listenihng...

    good to know

  • Yep,Walter is maybe the Founding Father of bluesharmonica.

I listen more to modern bluesharp players but they got it among others from Little Walter.

Start/Alle programma's/bureau-accessoires/Entertainment/geluidsrecorder.

    Succes ermee!

  • You got some talent man...don't let nobody tear you down.

  • Thanks again vatonaught,

Sometimes there is criticize, but thats no problem at all, only without any constructive instructions/tips i can't do anything with it!That kind of comments (without tips)are always from non-harmonica players..hehe

And of course i,m not Little Walter,He's the harp King!!! I,m just a boy playing his harp at home!

    Greetings,

    Allan

  • Sounded great

  • If this was the gong show, you'd be gonged away! There are a bunch of parts missing.....

  • Pfff then i,m very lucky this isn,t the gong show!!

Parts missing..maybe because there are thousands versions of this song?

(btw we don,t have or know any gong show here in Holland,is it a good show?)

  • great playing. i do hear that you're supposed to move the harp and not your head though. just saying ;)

  • Thanks fend14,

Maybe youre right about moving the harp but mostly i do both, little bit head and little bit harp.

    Why? i don,t know,got used to it..

  • Not at all, moving your head is often a lot more controlled then moving the harp itself. A good player will mix both techniques, but it is difficult to do a headroll moving your hands thats for sure, hence the name....

  • Hey man! where did you get the tabs for this song? I was searching for them in internet, but where was only Glen Weiser's version tabs :(

  • I don,t have or use any tabs.

First i listen witch harp key i need.

Then i record the song with the windows XP soundrecorder, and listen it over and over again. Also you can slow down the song with that soundrecorder, you can better listen what and how to play.

And of corse a lot of practice, bends and other technics you don,t learn it with tabs only.

    Good luck!!

  • You nailed that glissando at the beginning, the slide from the 3 bent up to 3 natural to 6! Good job!

  • Thank you!

(glissando? i search for that word now i know what it means...hehe)

  • Great men!! keep on harping!

  • Thanks men!

  • great playing, ignore the negative comments. the nerve of a 17 year old kid telling someone there playing is sloppy, unreal.. kcuzner you are a bit critical, are you an expert in blues?

  • Youre right, everybody may give me negative comments but without any advice i got nothing about it and ignore it.

    Thanks for youre nice comment!!

  • Thats not all true ya sum 17 year olds will do that. but me no i actually loves blues music and it wouldnt be my place 2 say n e thing like that

  • great man will u post some song lessons for c harps please?cheers mate and keep up the great music!

  • Lessons?? I,m not that good i think!

Maybe you must check Kudzurunner?he,s some kind of teacher with blues harmonica on YouTube.

I started with playing single note,s and then try to bend the note,s.

After that i practise on all kind of songs, with an A,C,D,E,F and G harp.

I,ve another video:Paul Butterfield - Everythings Gonna Be Alright thats a C harp song.

    Thanks for youre comment DeRobestkiBrothers!!

  • I didn't like the first few bars, but you seemed to get a lot better as you went on. I liked your tone and think you played with some great soul. How long have you been playing?

  • Ten years ago i begin to play harmonica on a 1 dollar harmonica. Two years later i bought my first bluesharp and try to play blues with it.

Sometimes i practice every day and sometimes no practice for months.

I play just for fun at home.

    Thanks for youre comment.

  • you got it

  • superb, really enjoyed that.

  • Thanks! I used a Höhner Pro harp in the key of D.

  • Great blues, man. Please tell me what brand of harp you play and the key you are playing in. Sounds great!

  • I got three bluesharp movie,s on YouTube and this was the hardest to play without any back rhythm.

    Thanks for youre comment

  • You play a bit sloppy and you also need to work on your tone. Keep practicing. You're on your way!

  • Thanks Zack!! The take of of the original song i got her at home, sounds not smoot too.I thought hearing "very tinny" warbles,so i play it with warbles too hehe!

Euh..i begin playing 10 years ago,but practice not frequently.I play just for fun at home and summers its too warm here inside for playing,so winter is left..!Last 2 years i practise more frequently.

  • Hey man, real good job on your take of the song. I like how you use warbles, I have never heard that in the intro being used before. Good job, how long have you been playing?
